09:30 AM – 10:30 AM – Badshahi Asoorkhana
This is a place of mourning for the Shia community of Muslims during the period of Moharram. This structure has an intricate design in the shape of hexagon and is exquisite and remarkable for its Chinese tiles and adorned with enamel-tiled mosaics.
10:00 AM – 11:00 AM – Chowmahalla Palace
India has many palaces which were built by some of its great ancient rulers. Chowmahalla is one such palace which remains a masterpiece. The design and features of this palace are marvelous and even the present buildings built with modern technology can hardly compete with its beauty.
It stands as a symbol which represents the culture and skill of our ancestors. Chowmahalla Palace, where the rulers of the Hyderabad state once lived under the flag of the Asaf Jahi dynasty. All the major ceremonies during the reign of the Nizams were conducted here. At present the palace is owned by a member of the Nizam’s lineage named as Barkat Ali Khan Mukkaram Jah.

11:30 AM – 12:00 PM – Charminar
Charminar is a square monument which is an ideal example of India’s architectural background back then. The structure of the monument has each side measuring 20 meters and two sides being connected with a tall minaret, a 4 storied building. This monument built with granite and lime mortar in Cazia style of architecture. Each arch also has a clock, which was installed in 1889 by the British.
The intricate carvings and moldings on the monument make Charminar a famous landmark of the city. The main gallery of the Minar has 45 covered prayer spaces which are not permitted to be visit. However in front, there is a large open space to accommodate a large number of people for Friday prayers.
12:05 PM – 12:20 PM – Mecca Masjid and Jama Masjid
The atmosphere inside the mosque is very peaceful and serene and therefore, one can offer prayers in solitude amidst a holy environment. One is amazed to see the elegant designs carved on the arches and the Quran’s verses etched on the walls.
12:20 PM – 12:50 PM – Laad Bazaar
We start the walking tour of Laad Bazaar. You may shop for the specialties of Hyderabad here. Laad Bazaar is the main market for bangles, semi-precious stones, pearls, Jewels, products such as silverware, Nirmal, Kalamari paintings, bidriware, lacquer bangles studded with stones, saris and hand-woven materials of silk, cotton. Brocade, velvet and gold embroidered fabrics, traditional Khara Dupattas, lacquer bangles and perfumes.

03:05 PM – 04:00 PM – Salarjung Museum
The Salar Jung Museum is a repository of the artistic achievements of diverse European, Asian and Far Eastern countries of the world. The major portion of this collection was acquired by Nawab Mir Yousuf Ali Khan popularly known as Salar Jung III. The Salar Jung Museum houses the largest one-man collection of antiques in the world. It is well known, throughout India for its prized collections belonging to different civilizations dating back to the 1st century. A visit to the Pearl city of Hyderabad is definitely incomplete without a visit to this incredible museum.
04:40 PM – 05:30 PM -Golconda Fort
Lying to the west of Hyderabad city at a distance of 11 km, the historic Golconda Fort derives its name from a Telugu word ‘Golla Konda’ which means Shepherd’s Hill. With its extensive and elevated fortifications, it was a landmark that governed the destiny of south India back then. The fort originally belonged to the Kakatiyas of Warangal. This is testified by the over-door carvings and relief work in stucco consisting of lions, peacocks, griffins and lotus at the entrance of the fort. In 1363 AD it was passed on to the Baihmanis. After their downfall in 1518 it became the capital of the Qutub Shah.
By the 17th century, Golconda was famous for its Diamond Market. It gave the world some of the best known diamonds like the Koh-I-Noor, the Hope, the Orloff of Catherine the great, and many more.
